New Member Looking For Some Advice About Lowering A 182 Cup Seat

  Clio 182 Cup
Hey guys, been reading the site for a while and only just got round to joining as I have just taken delivery of my very first Clio, its a 54 plate 182 cup. I bought it as a bit of a play thing and to have some fun with. The car is immaculate and am glad I took the time to find the right car. The one major problem with the car for me is the driving position, I am over 6' tall and want to get the seat as low as possible, I have looked and searched the forum but can only find bits and pieces about this and am hoping someone can point me in the right direction to a comprehensive answer, I am going to get a new seat but need to know the best subframe for dropping the seat, which parts I need and most importantly which company makes the easiest solution. Please be easy on me as I'm sure the regulars are sick of stupid newbies like me asking the same boring questions over and over :rasp:

If you think were bored of sick newbies asking the same questions do you think that if there always asked then we always give the same answers so a quick search would revel the answer qucikly?

Anyway as regards the seat you can remove some little riuber in the search if you become a member there a guide but its basically the rubber bungs the seat rails sit on but its not much.

As regards different seat I don't know of any low subframes but you could get them made very low and fix them to the floor.

Its not that bad though I've over 6 foot and whilst not great its not bad at all.

subframes wont make much difference unless having some made. aftermarket seat however, you could get one that sits much lower than the standard ones
