new member/ needs help

hi you guys im a new member and just wanted to say hello, and i need some help im currently a owner of a seat ibiza cupra that is remapped and other subtle mods( dont call me a traitor ha ha) and i feel like a change and am considering a change to one of the renault clio sport models, what is the best car out of the 172 sport and the 172 sport cup? and what are the differences? cheers in advance for your help!

Welcome to CS.

As for which 172 is best, that is subjective and will open a can of worms. If you want leather, abs, xenon lights etc - get a normal 172, if you can live without the toys - get a Cup.

Worth doing a quick search as there are lots of threads on the differences.

only decinding factor..

cup looks slightly better..(just because of the splitter and spoiler) but the interior reminded me of my 1.2 dynamic.. so i went for the sexy back full fat (i dont have traction control tho so still a bit of fun)

Spare wheel removed (replaced by 2 anti-puncture inflators)
Air conditioning removed
Side airbags removed
Xenon headlamps removed
Sound deadening adapted
Braking system redesigned without ABS
Front castor angle increased by 3°
Rear track 10mm wider
16"x7" Speedline 'Turini' alloy wheels

Worth noting - Climate contraol became and option on later Cups.

Depending on year normal 172s may have Crusie Control, CD changer, Traction control.

if i had my time again i would get a racing blue clio 182 (not to botherd on the model cup or ff) - purely because its a lush colour

and if i had the money i would get a trophy

Yep - Racing Blue = best colour I love my 182 Cup, with it's 1.2 Dynamique interior.

hi, i totally agree the racing blue is by far the best colour! but a bloke at work has a 182 cup in the racing blue, i dont want to seem a copy cat tho ha ha.however i do like silver and the dark blue that is almost williams blue is cool too tho decisions eh!

It's Monaco Blue, 172 colour Very nice. Buy one.
