New member, old forum car, from Cambs/South London

Hi all, Katie here from Cambs & South London.
I've had my 172 Cup ph2 for two years now and despite its regular attempts to steal all my wages, I still love it and never really want to part with it. It does sport a cliosport.net sticker in the rear window so I assume a past forum member owned it previously.

I've read this forum a lot over the past two years for advice for which I'm very grateful for! I spent my afternoon yesterday waiting for the RAC to come diagnose the current problem with the car so I'm no doubt going to be searching for more advice! X

It's also worth asking, as the car is currently in Cambridge with an injector wiring loom / ECU problem, if there are any specialists still that way? I was advised not to drive it back to London as had thought about taking it to the specialist ive read of in Wimbledon.
Ive seen a few posts from 2012 mention GDi near Cambs but no Googling of it today seems to find any results.

GDI is a swear word lol - they were awful-

Anyway - you have a specialist in luton who seem to be good
Armstrong Autos -
Then very good specialist in essex- Engine dynamics
or if your going North
diamond motors in long eaton

As Steve has already said above, Engine dynamics in Essex or Diamond motors would be my first ports of call for any work to be done.

Welcome to ClioSport Katie, good to hear the forum has offered some useful info so far.

I'd agree with the others suggestions of nearby specialists to approach. There's also Mark Fish Motorsport in Harlow which would seem to be on your route.

Another recommendation for Kev at Armstrong Autos in Luton, or you're also close to Chris at Beaniesport in Milton Keynes, both very good specialists.

Thanks all for your responses so far! I think we have the current problem under control but I'll certainly keep them in mind for the inevitable next episode.
I want to run my Clio forever!
