new mk2 clio sport 172 owner

hi all,

just got myself an 02 172 in blue after selling my 96 celica gt. have a few questions that some of you will no doubt be able to help with

it has an aftermarket stereo in there which I am taking out to fit my alpine head unit in, can anyone tell me what cables I will need so I can use the steering column remote??

also there is a multichanger under the driver seat, it doesnt seem to do anything at all, is that because the OEM head unit would have powered it? any way I can test it still works? my Alpine unit is multichanger compatible so I should be able to get it to work when I get the right cables.

thats all I have right now..im off to give the car a good scrub up, paint calipers, change disks and pads etc

another thing..accelerator pedal is sticky, doesnt actually stick on revs, just doesnt move smoothly..or am I just not used to clios?
