Bought a little mod pack from Giles.

Fitted just now pics below

Opinions please.

Bought my kit and Giles still had this so i thought i would take it.

110,000 mile Engine Bay

172 Handles from salvage yard.

172 Handbrake button.

Silver insert.

Giles was still selling the engine bay kit so i thought i would take it.

No one will really see it so no point sparying.

It was just chucked in the deal so why not use them lol no one will ever see it lol

I will end up taking the covers off and just leave the engine cover and oil cap on or even sell them on eBay.

The pic of the engine gave it away for me.
Like you say its not like sticking a 2.0 badge on it. Saying you have a 1.2 16v when its actually a 1.2 8v is like saying you have chlamydia when you have gonorrhea!! LOL!

Really, well I will probably be selling my car soon and its got APEX suspension, possibly we could do a suspension swap if your interested and if I have the time.

well bit of cash my way too as I paid £360 for them fitted. and forgot to ask for the old suspension.

Mk2 Ph1 1.4 Sport, sames as yours aint it but I think the newer engine?

Fancy putting original dynamique alloys back on M1TCH and i take your 172 alloys

Swap suspension and alloys and ill give you little cash your way

Whats your drop on the springs ?

they are -60mm kit. I think it does look lower than than now.

I'm not sure who could do it though cos I'm not much of a mechanic on cars.

Maybe the wheels too, I might put my old curbed up standard multi spokes back on to sell it though, really don't want to but I think the time has come.
