new or old

Ive got a 16v with the following problems:

Gearbox (wont go into gear, just stopped one day with one loud bang)

Bent sub frame (went over a kerb by accident)

No locks / door doesnt shut (car was broken into)

Missing back wiper

Engine hasnt been started for 6 months

Taking all that into account do you think it would be cheaper to do the car up (with 108000 on the clock) or buy a new one and scrap this one?

proberly be betta off buyin a new one and breaking up the other one for parts or spares!

i reckon it would cost around £600 to get that other car half decent!

  Was a Clio 1.8 16v

Bent sub frame ; knackered!

Seen some 1/2 decent 1s for under 2k recently so at that cost it aint worth doing a 100k plus 1 back up IMHO.

Personally i would break it. I dont think that the millage matters at all though. 100k is nothing if its been looked after.

  clio 20v

yeh thats bull sh*t f its been looked after my engine is on 35k but the car is in the 140s

it depends on how much it cost u for a fix its entirely up 2 u
