New pads = new discs?

Hi guys,

Just bought a set of ds2500's, my stock discs are still fine.

Ideally I want a set of Brembo HC discs, but freight from the UK is a killer, I'm in OZ.

Should I just use my OE discs and new pads?

I can't source the Brembo's from here, they don't recognise the part number.

Can anyone tell me the exact measurements for the brembo HC disc for a 172 mk2?

Thanks!

Personally i always get new discs and pads at the same time. If you can't get the brembo's get some decent aftermarket (i.e. lockhead standard etc.) ones, not the Renault ones.

Na you can use old discs with new pads, most people do as the pads wear out much much quicker than the pads.

A lot of people say the Reno discs do the job fine but Ive not gto a 172 so cant comment on that.
