New Ph1 Cleaning Session ;)

After having my new Ph1 for a week, I thought the need to clean it, as it was such a hot day!
I dont have any pics of the wheel arches , took me ages to take each wheel off and scrub the arches clean

Nothing special haha, just a lambswool mit, wash and wax, then Autosmart Carnauba Gold wax

going to buy another fan so its got twin fans to cool the rad

Definately needs a new wheel, trying to source one as we speak.
Got new mats on the way as one has a huuuuuge cigarrete burn in, looks like a meaty cigar burn if im honest

Wheels could do with a refurb, or maybe 16" F1's?

love carnauba gold from autosmart i use all there products!

Swapped it for my 106 GTi
But the seller was after £2700 for it

Had a nice cleaning session this morning (6am) haa
Cleaned the arches, inside of the wheels, painted the calipers and the rear beam.
Pics are below :

How much dirt came out of the arches!
(Need a new exhaust)

Satin black instead of silver and rust

Inside of the wheels, idiotic of my not to get a picture whilst they were off..

Cant really see.. but the rear beam has been wire brushed, treated and painted. There was hardly any rust to begin with, but I would like it to stay that way

nice mate, i spent yesterday cleaning arches too! used APC and a brush, took ages, used some dressing too so nice and shiney now.

yeh i used http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/acatalog/Valet_PRO_Tar_n_Glue_Remover_500ml_1.html

pretty impressive, you just see the tar dissolving straight away.

I cant believe how much dirt came out of those arches!!!!!!!!! lmao. but painting the calipers was deffo a good idea. look really smart.

Im going to gloss the calipers on the Gti, going to do them black just to really tidy them up. also getting a quote tomorrow for a front end respray

oh and iv been told renault have now got the bolts in stock for throttlebody so il pick them up and post them to you!

Not sure what state they are in now, but the GTis calieprs were all removed, sand blasted and painted in Matte Black VHT paint! lol

Thanks man, ive got a few goodies on the way for her in the form of colour coded door handles. New interior mats, and a new foglight to replace the cracked one.
