New Phone - 6280 / N80 or N91

Im now due to get a new contract. I've narrowed it down to either the Nokia 6280 (free) or the N80 or N91 (both £150).

What would people recommend?

I only really use the phone for calls and texting obviously, but like to have a reasonable camera, and a few extra toys always come in handy.

Just not sure if the N80 or N91 are really worth the £150 extra if im not going to be using all the advanced features like wi-fi and whatever else :S

My N91 keeps locking up :( have to remove the battery to resolve it .. didn't pay for it so no big deal .. guess I will see how it goes ..

Firmware update should sort any locking up. i updated the N80 and it was loads better than when i got it.

I've sent it back though, mainly due to the contract with Orange, and them being clampits, but the phone was good. The battery is crap though, only lasts a full day with some useage.

like tom says, if you dont need loads of features and ability for sat nav and that likes, go for the 6280. Waste of a good gadget otherwise!

Nokia n80 is class, N91 is hard to text unless you have really small fingers.

N80 reboots alot aswel when running java apps.

Havent tryed the 6280.

I'm due a new phone and can't decide between N80/W810/K800.

I already have a W800.

Can I use an N80 as a mp3 player in the same way as a W800? I've got a 2gb card with my W800, can I get one for a N80?

Is the N80 too chunky? I compared one in a shop and it didn't seem much bigger than my w800 but I think small amounts make a big difference when the phone's in your jeans pocket. I used to have a 6600 and hated it due to it being too chunky.

£150 for an N80 sounds steep on contract.

Im looking at a new contract at the mo... Orange, 500 anytime mins, 150 off peak mins, 1000 texts, Free broadband, 18 mnt contract, N80 (£50), ... £30 a month

My n91 is running perfect, not locking up nothng.

and you get used to tx with the keys

Well i've just gone for the N80, ending up haggling and getting it for free, so hasn't cost much more than the 6280 would have done

Pink it up tomorrow when I have more time

Cheers for the advice and opinions

I just got the N80 on O2 for £129 on contract. Seems steep but contract is 12months at £19 a month which is ideal.

Hmm, i got mine on vodafone for free, plus £30 cash back. Contract is £30 a month though over 12 months, so works out a little less over the 12 months as no initial outlay. There's so so many differant tariffs about though, its just a case of going for the one that suits you best
