New Plate, New Year, New Pics (56k Tut Tut )

Well this has been on going for about 3-4 days just doing bit here and there.

Got the plate for christmas, was very shocked on the day as i was not expecting it.

Anyway very pleased, got it put on a few days ago, local DVLA office did it while i waited so cant complain.

The process :

Pre wash soak with the super spray, 50:50 mix of maxi suds and megs apc

Rinsed wish the Karcher

Washed with gold class and the 2 bucket method

The paint had already had Auto Glym SRP and EGP x3 a few weeks ago so it was just a case of waxing it to fully protect it over the coming months.

I went for Megs #16 as my chioce on the wax, i could have used some colinite that i have in my collection but i havnt used #16 before so i thought i would give it a go.

The results.

Sorry for the quality of the pictures, they were taken using my k800i, as my camera is flat.

the cover came from a motor parts supplier that actually sells on ebay too. only usually see black or red ones so when he said he had one that was blue with white graphics i thought why not.

have thought about it, but it would be very time consuming keeping the white bits clean and to be honest i think the whole white wheel thing has been done to the death, the wheels will be getting refurbed at some point this year, by lap tab i think.

mite lower it but i am not sure yet will have to see what the spring/summer brings.

yeh the 93 is a nice car to drive, has been a bit neglected over the winter months, however i did superguard the roof the otherday, and italso had parking sensor put in too.

its a turbo version too, i think its the 150 or 180 version not too sure. sat nav in it is fantastic though , lists all the traffic reports in the contry and then you can view the roads that you need to on the screen to look for the jct's etc.

his is only the saloon one.

unfortunatly i am going to have to take it off the drive tomorow morning and get it dirty on the way to work ( cant be avoided ) but at least its protected well.

dirty again now, oh and it was kind of the flock of seagulls to s**t on it today whilst it was at work, bit of QD and top up of wax which means its sorted again now.
