here's where is starts, a few ideas, some (free) chipboard and a jigsaw.

had the rings cut by a place that makes fireplaces, after botching it the first time (they couldn't understand what I wanted) they re-did it really nicely, even glued the rings together

design kinda changes quite a bit from here...

then sent it to the sound shope tp glass for me, saw it the otherday, just needs to be sanded smooth for painting, hoping to have it colour coded to the car.

the rings are easy to make if you got a free 8' x 4' sheet of mdf

i think i would of used mdf myself

yeah, the mdf is much better, was lucky to get an off cut for the rings, otherwise I'm forced to by a 8 x 6 foot sheet.....and I was really just toying around at first and didn't want to spend the money on the mdf, anyways, now that its glassed, no one will know...
