Hi all,

I'm new to the site and have currently just purchased a 172 phase 2 as a daily driver. Am interested in modifying the 172 and am after some ideas so that dont waste any time or money going in the wrong direction, The car is totally standard at the moment.

Welcome, in regards to modifying, what are you wanting to do with it?

Corner better? More power? Sik body kit?

Oh good.

Well for better cornering, tyres and an allignement setup would be a good start, then either a set of eibach lowering springs or coilovers if your feeling flush.

On the power front, you can't really get any more than 5bhp without spending thousands.

Currently got toyo t1rs all round, alignment was done when tyres got fitted last week, wheels in need of refurb so thats the next job undecided on keeping silver at the moment or go for a gun mental had a qoute for £240.00 powdercoated and curtecy car included booked in for the 19th, also going to go for a coilover setup and struts.
