my name is Maciek, i am from poland, i recently bought my williams 1993...
Unfortunatly it has engine totally damaged with almost everything to fix in it. Using this opportunity i am also changing my cams doing some headwork, changing air filter, manifold and pistons. Renault hasnt got oversized pistons to williams engine (84mm) which i need. There where some scratches which need to be polished so we need 84 not 83.7. As far as i searched i found only forged pistons to willy engine that might be this size. I wrote mails to: omega, catcams, je, ross pistons, chadil. I only recieved anwser from chadill:
they have regular size pistons in stock but this 84mm it will take them about 1 month and will cost 230 euro for one piston. I hope u guys know something more about which pistons manufacturers support willy engine. I already pmed Ben_r(i think he has the most knowlegde in this theme around here?) and hope to recieve some anwsers soon.
Another question is whether it is better to buy bb perfomnce head gasket set, k-tec or originall renault one?

and renault charge something about 60 punds.
I ask for some advice. (My car - williams is in really bad shape but i hope i will manage to put it together in one piece
