So I picked up a spare wheel on Sunday from Kelly off Clio197.net, it was slightly kerbed but that didn't bother me as I wanted one to have a go at refurbishing partly for the fun of having a go at it, and partly as a trial for the colour. As some of you may have gathered from my recent photoshop I was considering racing blue, but, the powers that be (MrsDuck) and a few fellow members on here managed to persuade me that as I already had a tin of capsicum red paint, that was the way to go.
So Monday night I rubbed it down, tuesday I put on the primer and last night I sprayed it Capsicum Red. Unfortunately I didnt have enough capsisum red left But I had enough to get a half decent finish ready for today to have one of my old Contis put on when i had my front tyres changed today. So anyway heres the result, it needs some more coats of paint, but I need it as a spare now for tomorrow as I am driving to Devon, so thats got to wait untill I am back. Anyway enough waffle. Comments appreciated.
