New wheels for Clio 200 RS

Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy a second set of wheels for my Clio 200 for trackday use, so I'd have them fitted with semi-slicks.
My Renault dealer quoted an extra set of speedlines at 256 euros per wheel (so just the rim, no tire included), which seems expensive (a basic 17" aftermarket wheel starts at about 120 per wheel).

Are the speedlines worth the extra cash? Also, are speedlines suitable for something like a Toyo R888?

All advice would be very much appreciated!

Follow-up question:
Apparently the Clio Cup race cars use MICHELIN S9B 20/61-17 slicks on 17" speedlines. Are those the 'normal' speedlines that you get on your road-legal Clio or are they special racing speedlines?

They are 8" wide instead of 7.5"
