Got some new alloys for a visit to the local scrappy. I managed to get some Alloys which were off a Renault Megane Coupe (Old style) now these alloys were a great bargin, and im cleaning them up then getting them sprayed silver. Now these wheels are 14 inches and are 175x65.
Good wheels for my wee 1998 Clio.
Now the question is, what is the best product on the market to actually get all the brake dust and crap off them? Im going to take the balances off so i need a good product to remove the sticky lining also on them.
Ive got the acidic cleaner which bodyshops use to clean wheels and im going to use that for a bit then see how it goes.
I did manage to get a Bodyshop to spray them and fill them (for free
) once they are cleaned up.
Any ideas?
