Hi everyone:rasp:

I've just bought a mk1 clio for £350 it's being used as a daily run-around. I've been watching the site for a few months so i thought it was finally time to say hello! I think the site is awesome, full of usefull advice and really friendly peeps. I'm not planning on modding the clio apart from i've lowered it, all mk1's should be on their ass

Yeh it was me at the club vec show. Cliosport stand was looking good

It sure did, sy's ka was written off by a transit van:dead: He's got an Audi a3 at the mo and he's building a cheap track corsa, although he still wants to do another ka!

Ideally suited to the ka then! lol I prefer it to the usual blue/chrome found on most fords:rasp:

Yeh I went in his audi when he first got it...its a lovely motor but just not as 'fun' as the other cars he's had

I've not seen him in a long while though.

As for the engine, at least you'll no it was built properly and carefully and ever since cars like his i've always thought twice about who I line up with...yours is no exception. I'm sure you embarrass a fair lot of people!

The power now is around 140-150bhp on low boost. Once the t3 and other bits are on i'm aiming around the 200bhp mark, I'm not really bothered if it doesn't make it to 200, the t3 will make the car alot quicker and useable in every day conditions.

Welcome to the club. My mate Dan has an RS turbo Ka and its a lot of fun, i thought he was one of only a handful who has the conversion. His is running pretty standard right now, around 150bhp i believe. He probably knows who you are!
