Newbie from sheffield

Hello everybody,

My names simon and im from sheffield, I have quite a few interests ranging from music, eating out, socialising and having a good laugh but my main interest is cars and and i have had a fair few (26) :lolup: since i started driving 5 years ago back in 2005.

Im quite anal when it comes to condition and im into detailing too but dont worry i also like to drive them :rasp:

Ive actually joined the forum as im currently looking for a new summer toy and after a well known member off here with a Clio 182 coming into my garage to have his tyres fitted last week ive actually been considering getting one!

I wont go through the list of cars ive owned but heres the 2 which you guys will probably appreciate the most....

My old cherry red 306 rallye which i had in june 2008...

My old integra type R UKDM which i had june 2009...

Good choice of cars so far. Adding a 182 would certainly continue the sample of all time great FWD cars! Where was the pic of the ITR taken? Somewhere near the Strines maybe?

Luke is his name or The boosh on here, He is a top lad been coming to our place for a good year now for his tyres and we always have a good chinwag about cars.

Cheers, Ive had quite a few jap turbo cars such as 200sx's, Mr2 turbos etc but theyre only any good in a straight line which gets a bit boring.

I like cars which are involving and rewarding to drive quickly and out of all my cars my 306 rallye and integra where the most fun without a doubt

Im still not 100% decided on what car to get next but a clio 182 is certainly on the list so ill be keeping my eyes peeled for a decent one.

Your correct on the location, The pics where took just up from Bradfield not too far from where i live in stocksbridge.

Any one local to Sheffield I would definitely recommend the HiQ garage in Hillsborough. Simon's a top lad and he won't see you far wrong. He's sorted me out a few times and tbh I wouldn't be going any where else for my tyres now!

All that's left mate is to get yourself a nice looking Trophy and rape it round some B roads :rasp:

A trophy would be nice but id have to sell my runabout motor first to afford one whereas i could easily afford a good 182 now and then when i sell the bmw have a few grand left to spend on essentials

Haha, Was a decent car but a little twitchy on the limit

I got the car off 306Gti-6.com a few years ago, It was well known rallye off a chap called Al_rallye from west yorks who then bought a silver 182 and now owns a cliosport 197 i believe......He could actually go on here.

I sold it to a chap in sheffield and then he sold it to a chap in the harrogate area called Fox-3 on the forum.

Yeah i'm on there too used to have a 6 about 3 years ago. I remember seeing the Rallye once in Harrogate when Al had it, It was very tidy.

Fox is the lad with the 205 isnt he? Still havent seen it since you sold it either, I'm guessing it must be in storage somewhere.

Pretty sure Al was on here too, I remember seeing pics of his 182

Yes he has a 205, Its a small world isnt it!

Sadly the lad who bought it off me gave it nothing but abuse which was a shame is it was pretty stunning condition wise, He lived near to my work so i saw it everynow and again with fresh scratches/scuffs and now Fox has it.
