newbie girl with clio v6

hi everybody. just gone out and bout a v6. having come from a modified ka this is amazing but still just as girly. only joking. seriously though great forum and hopefully lots of valuable information. would appreciate any tuning tips from fellow v6 owners.

i cant post much at the moment due to site limits. i have a boyfriend the car arrives on thursday! from basingstokie its silver so u know what it looks like!

plans are antharite wheels and pods.....yellow interior. exhaust, induction and chip. and im taking the tape player out naturally

im spraying the plastics yellow....redoing the leather black etc ~(the wheels a bit tatty from the previous owner).....have local retrimmer friend. and the car has a tapeplayer in it at the moment which i asume was standard as it has a cd changer in the back?

I would have thought you would at least get a cd player in a V6?

Anthracite wheels on a Silver V6 = The Dog danglies.

yup that is standard on the MK1, now let see some pics of you and the car ;)

welcome to the club, thats one hell of a jump from a Ka to a v6, nice one! not sure bout the tape player, thought the cd changer would be under the passenger seat like the 172s not 100% bout that though.

its a MK1 230hp or the MKII 255hp ? :confused:
hmmm... seems that MK1s are becoming cheap 2nd hand and all sorts of weird spoilers and chrome spinners are being added. yellow interior is another one.

wahts wrong with spaying up a couple of plastic plannels its hardly spoiling a car???? anyway some poeple like things standard others like a play and some people go crazy its thier property

you will probably find that most members here are anti modifying in regards to styling and PRO engine tuning and discrete mods. Thats just my opinion anyway from what i have seen on here.

i value other peoples opinions. theres nothing wrong with the interior styling of the clio. except i want to personlise mine a little.... my car my choice regardless.

how you decorate you house bedroom garden car christams tree........ all the same

Ive never seen the inside of a Mk 1 clio 172 or the V6 so cant really comment on it.

First Clio was a 2002 model, then bought the 04 182 on christmas eve.

I find i dont look at the interior when im looking out the window. Could you not get replacement panels incase you wanted to put it back to standard, you find that once they get scratched, and the wind gets under the paint its gonna peel like a bad bananna..

Most people on here are jealous...
