Ive just bought a 182 Cup and wanting recomendations for a full exhaust system inc. sports/de-cat manifod and full system, cost is not an issue just want the best system for performance not just sound.... Any help would be great, also once ive had this done is it worth gettin the ecu re-mapped e.g superchips???

Cheers Rob

o yeh and induction kit was thinkin the ITG Maxogen kit from KTR?? got a piperX at the mo' just for a better noise than standard

For your exhuast system, as by the sounds of your requirements you need custom made, I would goto Hayward and Scott, as I dont know of any off the shelf manifolds for the 182, saying that, the 182 exhaust manifold is very good, so maybe you would be better off just going decat/sports cat and full system (janspeed decat magnex echaust or hayward and scott full custom) and spending the money you would have spent on the exhaust manifold on work on the inlet manifold (PM BenR for his 2 stage process). As for induction kit, you've hit the nail on the ehad with ITG Maxogen, though shop around, you can get it cheaper than KTR sell it for. Finally ECU, dont goto superchips, with those mods you need a custom map, best bet is an SMT6 piggy back ecu from someone like GDI, this can be mapped specifically to your car and to the mods you have had done.

So if you went with inlet manifold, decat, exhaust, ITG and an smt6 you would probably see 190ish bhp

thanks alot for the help there mate, can you point me in the direction to source these items

http://www.haywardandscott.com/

http://www.greydevilindustries.com/ or pm ANDY@GDI for smt6

PM BenR for info on his inlet manifold work (He runs angelworks, which are based by GDI)

http://www.itgairfilters.com/maxogensystems.asp?section=maxogen&ID=19

http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk - for magnex and janspeed decat or sports cat.

might also be worth considering some of BenR's magical cams, with the cams, and the work mentioned previously, you'll be knocking on 200bhp. Perosnally I would probably get the magnex and janspeed decat (easiest option for fitting and dont have to travle to h&s though if it isnt too far to travel it would be worth it) the itg maxogen, and then visit gdi and angelworks (benr) for them inlet manifold, smt6 and cams if you go for them
