Newbie saying hello

Hi everyone at CS.

I've got a 1.2 16V Clio Campus sport in black. It's not modded yet because my insurance is expensive enough without any mods! I'm not going to bother posting pics because it's just standard with 172 alloys.

Now my insurance is getting a bit cheaper I'm hoping to get it lowered a little (I'm keeping my 172 alloys so not too low), I want the cup front splitter and I think that's about it for now (unless anyone suggests something nice ).

Unfortunately thats all got to wait until I get all my parking dents removed

Anyways, I'm mostly here to pick up tips on modding and keeping my black car looking clean and shiny.

Cookie - they came on the car

I got a great deal on my car, someone had ordered a massive shipment and cancelled them at the last minute so I got a £10,500 car for £7,500.

I've got all autoglym shampoos and polishes already but tbh I think they are rubbish. It could just be what I'm using to clean the car or how I'm doing it though.

It cleans well enough, it just doesn't have much in the way of suds

I've been looking at that page. I'm too scared to clay it myself so I'm trying to get my BF to do it for me. I'm going to wait to get the dents done first though.

The bloke from chipsaway is coming to give me a quote on monday morning but I'd rather use someone who is recommended.

Any clues on how much i should be expecting to pay to have 5 parking dents removed (on 3 different panels if that makes a difference)?

Do you know which Chipsaway guy it is? I've used one in the Midlands who was really good. As it's a franchise they are very hit and miss.

He has a mate who does parking dents too. I've also use him and he did a good job too.

His name is alan but he came this morning and basically said that because there is no damage to the paintwork he won't do it but he has given me the number of "dave the dent".
