  Focus RS Mk2
Hi Guys n Girls

I'm a newbie. I've just sold my Focus RS Mk2 and am seriously thinking of getting a Clio RS 200 Cup or similar. Anyone with any thoughts? My Focus was massively upgraded to Stage 3 385bhp and was fun and I will probably seek to modify the Clio similarly. Whats out there in tuning packages, and prices, and who does it in the Surrey / Sussex / Gatwick area?

This really is just a speculative post and to introduce myself. I will be looking to buy once this initial research is done.

Thanks for reading
Steve

  Mint 1*2's for sale-
Clio 200 or if your not a fan of the 200 front end then buy a Clio R27- ( top spec 197)

JMS in Chertsey are just getting going on tuning packages for the 197- theres not a huge amount about- exhaust / filter / remap etc- 200 is the same- ( unless you want to go forced induction)

I think Jamsport are going for a supercharger kit IIRC-

possibly Ktec-

Hey thanks, there's some good info here.. all of my options are open at the moment which is why I'm picking you guy's brains. Did I not read somewhere about a Clio 200 running 350 ish bhp..... would be interesting to stay naturally aspirated, but supercharger sound interesting to.

Welcome chap!

I live in Crawley :) my clio will be supercharged soon so you're welcome to a ride. 326hp, so should give you a good idea of where you're heading.....

The only way to get that power out of the clio engine without silly money is to go forced induction... supercharger kits will see you in about 250hp, next step from there is forged internals which will see you up to 350-400 depending on the size of your wallet.

Hi there.. hey I might take you up on that ride offer I am in Smallfield. Tell me though, doesn't putting the standard engine through all of that forced induction not make you worry about the internals.. especially given that the engine isnt turbo'd or supercharged in its standard form? Its common knowledge for instance that the Focus RS is good for 400bhp without internal work, I am on 385 now. I might have gone the 400 route but anything over and well..... gotta look at the internals. I wouldn't discount doing internal work on a 200 RS as and when I get one. Just my thoughts.. anyone else?
