Nitromors + side badges

In case you were going to strip down the existing paint or one of your old paint jobs on the plastic bump strip badges - DON'T USE NITROMORS - or any other paint stripper either!!!!!

I have just melted the plastic on a set and had to bin them :dead: - it was only on them for about 20 seconds as well!!!!!!

lol didn't you read on the tin ? it says not to put into a plactic container

I've used it on plastic parts of previous cars I have had and it worked fine so long as you didn't leave it on for long but this was instant meltdown - lol

There is some stuff called Green Goo, its used for stripping paint off plastic.

Well that set of badges is black goo now

I wouldn't strip the paint of the badges in the first place . Just clean them , degrease if necessary and spray over the existing colour , job done
