No brembos on my 200

Okay so I bought a clio 200 in November last year and as the title says it's missing brembo calipers, it does have brakes they're just not brembos, anyone got any ideas why and where I could hunt some down? Cheers

They are 4 pots just not brembos, I took a photo I'm just struggling to upload it a sec (first post more or less haha) so I'll try uploading it from the laptop not my phone

Are they not simply non cup pack Brembos so silver instead of red? Possibly with the Brembo decals worn off?

If they are four pots I highly doubt they are not Brembo callipers.

Not from what I can see, there's no branding on them atall, looking a bit dodgey with a taped up nipple as well I'll try and get a photo on here in a minute

What on earth! Maybe the car was damaged and they used come cheap calipers instead. Will wait for photos....

Sounds like theyve been repainted by a previous owner, and the brembo logo not reapplied. Or just generally neglected and its worn off

A lifetime of being 'cleaned' at the local Iraqi £5 car wash will destroy calipers.
My dad had brand new Merc sport calipers (lush!!) fitted less than a year ago and now they look like the titanic's Anchor.

Right here we go I think I sussed photobucket, haha yeah I let anyone wash my car offering a £5 wash (forgive me for the terribly touched in alloys need a refurb on all 4 corners)

AFAIK, well it is on mine, the 'BREMBO' logo is just a transfer mate. Buy a set of decals on ebay for about £2 with postage.

And yes, that's been repainted by the looks of things.

Yep they are Brembo's but painted to freshen them up. Should say Brembo on the back of them.

The 'tape' looks like masking tape previous person has put over nipple before spraying an hasn't taken off afterwards too.

I know it's horrendous! Think it's just been coloured in with a sharpie, gonna get them all refurbed then it's a set of new tyres

Is your 200 a Cup? If not is it a 200 with Cup suspension pack?

Looks to me like it could well be neither of those, silver wheels badly painted black and silver callipers given a rough going over (not even bothering to sort the logos out) to make it look like it has the Cup suspension pack.

No it's not a cup and it doesn't have the cup suspension on it, which isn't too bad seeing as the roads around by my are terrible haha!

That's no bad thing! I drive on broken country roads mostly and my non-cup 200 was perfect for them.

Yeah before the clio I had a seat Ibiza 1.9tdi cupra and that suspension on the roads at the moment was a nightmare!
