NO HEATING OR AIRCON ON MY PH2 172

Hi there I have a 2002 clio sport 172 phase2. It has climate control.

There is no heating or cooling what so ever, the climate control screen works fine but no air comes out of the vents no matter if the settings are low high or hot and cold.

How can I test if its the heater blower motor or if its the resistor pack??

all the fuses are fine. I wish it was one of them, but it aint.

I took the blower motor out and it spins freely, si it wasnt jammed or stuck. I now think its the resistor pack but I will check if the blower works tommorow by doing electrical stuff with my brother.

Resister packs a common failure £85 for a new one thats the only fix realy unless you want to rebuild it (forget that)

Hi, exact same thing has just happened to me! glad i searched first. how did you fix this in the end? if it was the resistor pack did you fit it yourself and was it very easy?

will be the resistor pack. very common failure.

ok, its going to K-Tec for a service soon(week or so) worth asking them to do it or is it something thats not too hard to do myself?
I guess i could get them to check its definitly that, and then buy one from somewhere else to fit?

Ask them to look maybe they will try one they might have in stock etc but yep its a common failure on them.

Fitment easy.
