Noise from front right wheel

So recently fitted my brake discs and pads then went for a drive and heard a metal sort of tapping sound from front right. Jacked up and removed wheel to find my brake pads have moment up and done and slightly between disc and Caliper back and piston. Could it be a sticky piston not pushing back out after I pressed it back to fit the new items?

Update: I’ve read up about the rc5+ pads I’ve got. Got some pics of the info. Bottom of image 1 under note and the circled bit in second image. Anyone who is or has run these would greatly appreciate tips etc.

My RC5+ always rattled around in the calipers - it's not really an issue, as long as the pads are the correct size/shape, AIUI.
