noise when clutch is engaged

happened a couple days ago now and isn't getting any better

every time the clutch is engaged it sounds kinda like i can hear the clutch spinning and slightly touching something, hasn't effected how it drives or goes into gears in the slightest just a noise that won't go away

i'm not all that clued up as its never happened before but is it time for a new clutch?

Could be your release bearing, if the clutch plate is worn out u will notice it slipping under acceleration... can u post a vid or a sound clip?

How old is the clutch?

as far as i'm aware its still the original, just ticked over 76,000 miles i've owned it since 67,000
