Noises from the Rear - top mounts?

Noticed some knocking/noises from the rear in my 172, especially when the suspension is loaded up i.e. long corner and a bump. Is this likely to be topmounts or the damper being knackered? Its on unknown lowering springs and KYB shocks.

have you had a good look under it? for leaking damper, or dmg spring?

Not yet, will check when it stops snowing.

if they are the same, powerflex do top mounts, i replaced mine not long ago

Turned out to be the exhaust mount! It was my backbox banging and grinding against the spring!

Common problem mate.
Try and get an uprated bush in the rear exhaust mount if possible. My standard one lasted all of 3 months

Yep got one of the fandangled orange poly bushes. Swapped it over at the weekend.
