Noisey Brake set up (It is brand new though)

  Black Gold with cup packs
Have had my brakes fitted for around 4 days. They are very noisey when braking at low speeds. Is this normal? Will they quieten down when they have broken in? I have Brembo Disks, Greenstuff pads and braided hoses, Yozza set up. Help much appreciated.

who fitted them? and did they fit the pad stickies (if they came with them, some pads do, i honnestly can't remember if the EBC greens do, i "think" they do, they look like thick rubbery stickers)

that or lack of copper grease/cleaning of the calipers

They did have rubber things with them yes. Not sure if they were fitted though. If they didn't I don't have them.
As you can imagine the noise is really pissing me off.

I had them fitted by a proper fitter where I live.
The noise is only at low speeds though

Mine do the same. Cross drilled KTEC brakes and green stuff pads. Particullarly noticeable when using them first thing in the morning. The hotter they get the less hassle i have. Fitted mine about 2 months ago and it has got better with age.

Is it a Particually noticable sound because mine is.

I can hear it as i am depressing the brake pedal. like i said goes away after the brakes get hot. Is yours constant. On my old clio my brakes really squeeled all the time. Still worked but really pissed me off. Never found a solution. Mine have the rubber pads on. They called shims or something?

Greenstuff does come with the antisqueal shims but you do have to trim and fit them. They arent already on the pads. Mine squeaked a couple of times when they were new, but are ok now.

to be honnest you'll have to check if they've been fitted, its not the end of the world if they haven't, hopefully they've used copper grease instead, i'd suggest popping it back to the fitter

they'll be stuck to the back of the pads, you could take a wheel off, take a pic of the caliper and post it up and i might be able to see from the pic
