Noisy Headlights mk2 172

When i turn on the ignition i get a whurring noise from the headlights......is this normal?

from what iv understood so far its your auto adjusters motors on the headlights

yeah i no that much but it sounds like there funked!!!

they prob are then.......or might need a service some how, clean an grease
