Non sport mk2 Speaker wiring colour

Right after installing a different set of aftermarket speakers in the front of the car, i previously had them soldered straight to the terminals because i didnt have the right connectors... anyway in my head i thought if i didnt have the pos and neg the right way it would work... so i must have had them all right... wrong

I switched the + and - and it still worked, does it matter what way you have them? yes it does im thinking?

Ive looked for the speaker wire colours, and have 3 different colour scemes, one of which matches but is wrong for one speakers wire colours, so without me faffing about anymore can some one tell me in a quote which is pos and neg..

Speaker colours i have

Front LH

Pink
Beige

Front RH

Brown
Green

Rear LH

Grey/Black
Red-y/Pink

Rear RH

Browny/purple
Grey/Black

Thanks!

Right did the right thing and rooted around the loft for the after market speaker boxes with the old cut off connectors on, looking on all speakers inside the plug hole next to the tab bit you push for release is the + sign, so on the connectors that go into the speakers all the + (pos) are the wires closest to the tab you push for release, (saying this in case anyone else like myself before is looking for where the positive wire is...

So for my 2003 non sport dynamique the pos and neg wires are:

Front LH

Beige +
Pink -

Front RH

Green +
Brown -

Rear LH

Grey/Black +
Red-y/Pink -

Rear RH

Browny/purple +
Grey/Black -

  Disastra Coupe
I used the original wire's... Just cut the plug off (allowing plenty of wire both on the plug and in the door incase i ever swapped when selling car)... Then soldered the wire's in the door to my new wire's.
