Just been told by a renault dealer that cause I've changed my brakes to, in my opinion, better than standard parts (brembo high carbon discs, EBC Greenstuff pads) that this will effect a warranty issue which I have regarding steering/suspension knocking problems. I see these parts as wear and tear items much like tyres, and would assume that the warranty doesn't want you to put exactly the same tyres on, does it?
Maybe I'm too honest, I told them that I got new front tyres (exalto's), and new discs and pads to help with the history of the car... ended up just walking out of the place.
