nooo an other eco tek problem

  C63 AMG, F430 & 172

hiya i took my eco tek valve off as the noise is stupid and anoying!! when i fitted this my brakes felt less responsive so when i put some servo hose over the cut tube i thought this would solve it,,,but no so then i noticed that my pads looked low msome got some new ones and went to fit them the others had half left on,,so thought i might have air in lines so i bought a bleeder kit and did that bit better ,but still wont lock up,,how can i fix this, and could the ecotek been the source of the probs after i cut that bloody hose to fit the b*****d thing:mad:

Ermmmm... ROFL LMFAO! <<chuckles>>.

Your eco-tek doesnt go in your brake fluid hose...

Jesus thats the funniest thing Ive heard in a long time.. its got to be in the same category of the guy in the states that painted his brake disks.... LMAO!

  C63 AMG, F430 & 172

yer i know that,,but i had boiled the fluid last summer when i passed me test got a bit carried away on that brake pedel

Ok... Ben.... seriously mate.

Why did you fit it to your brake fluid line?

  C63 AMG, F430 & 172

no seriously i fixed it onto the air line of the cylinder,,cum on what u take me for???? i used servo hose as it is flexable

  C63 AMG, F430 & 172

you can see where it was fitted on my profile pic of the engine at the top left of the pic where the line goes into the air box

Ok ok... but why do you think fitting your Eco-Tek has affected you brakes... I dont see the connection unless you fitted the Eco-Tek in your brake fluid line..

  C63 AMG, F430 & 172

lol have you seen the pic,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,n now we sorted that out, could this servo hose cause this

  C63 AMG, F430 & 172

no it is fitted on the air line from the brake cyclinder to the air box,,the brakes use this spare air for extra vacume,oh how this has turned around lol:D

  C63 AMG, F430 & 172

NO!!!!!!!! THE IS A PLASTIC PIPE WITCH LEADS FROM THE AIR BOX TO THE MASTER CYLINDER,,IT IS AN AIR PIPE NOT A FLUID LINE,,??? IS THIS A WIND UP?

Ok now we get some more information... if you read the original post - you can see why I have written what I have.

Caps lock isnt necessary.

Right - so youve cut the air pipe between the master cylinder and the airbox right? and now youve bandaged it up with some other bit of pipe?

did u really set fire to the bin? good on ya!

maybe youve just gone a bit mad and theyre fine really
(or maybe they havnt bedded in yet as youve just changed em?)

  C63 AMG, F430 & 172

yey sorry for the caps im in work n use it on the pcs hear n left it on lol,, yer your right about the servo bandage

  Pink & Blue 182, JDM DC2

Ben on a serious note, you really should replace the pipe youve cut. Then get the system topped up and bled. Should be fine then.

And no more buying crap mods!
