Noticed whilst working on car...

Couldnt help but notice the following whilst had my car jacked up yesterday.

#1 Suspension is so stiff if you jack the front of the car up it lifts the rear wheel off the ground!

#2 If you set the alarm, and then jack the car up, the internal sensors dont work. You can lean into the car (through open window) - and open the door etc... All it does it give off a high pitched bleep. Is there a mercury tilt switch or something that realises the car is off the ground?

Ps. Heavy forbid your still in the car when its jacked back down to the ground... deafening... I need hearing aids now!

My old Pug 106 GTi used to lift a rear wheel when you jacked the front too - those whacky French eh !

All my cars have done that, its prob because of where the jacking points are.
