Hi all.
If anybody is interested in good honest clubman motorsport, I thought I would post the events in which I have entered my 172 Cup. These events are all part of the NSCC Speed Championship 2007 - See gosprinting.co.uk for full info.

14 April - Three Sisters - Longton and District MC (Nr Wigan)
29 April - Curborough - NSCC - (Off A38 Nr Alrewas)
3 June - Harewood - BARC - (Outside Leeds)
17 June - Curborough - NSCC
8 July - Three Sisters - Longton and District MC
21 July - Elvington - Auto 66 - (Outside York)
26 August - Harewood - BARC
15 and 16 Sept - Thoresby Park - NSCC - (Nr Ollerton)

It would be nice to see some other Clios at these events or even entered!

I will try and keep you updated on Championship progress through the season.

My car is in the Road Standard class which means you can add a bucket seat, harness, roll cage if you want. I have a 4 point harness with standard seat and no cage. You can also change the dampers, but not the springs and change the wheels for the same diameter as standard but up to 1inch wider which would mean 8X16! This all helps keep the costs down!

how much is entrance fees and what times do the runs start as i work on saturdays at the moment till about two.

Entrance fees vary from event to event, usually £3 - £4 but I do get free tickets as an entrant so if you pm me can probably sort it. Most events are on Sunday although the first event is next Saturday.

Timed runs start after lunch son you might catch 1 or 2 runs, depends how far away 3 Sisters is from you.

a guy at work handed me a leaflet for nscc.
the £30 for a licent put me off, then its 30-40 for 2 timed runs.

id personally want to be doing about more than that for the money.

Non Race National B license is £35. Events cost between £65 and £95 for which you get 2 practice runs in the morning and at least 2 timed runs in the afternoon. At Curborough last May we got 6 timed runs in the afternoon. Bloody good value imo and great fun too!
