NT Network Error

Logging onto our windows 2003 domain I'm getting the error message

"Windows cannot connect to the domain, either the Domain Controller is down or because the computer account was not found"

All the network settings are ok, I can ping the machine, remotely connect to it, but only log on using the local admin account. I can ping the domain controller and everything else on the network, but its just not letting me sign on using a network logon.

I've also got the following messages in the event viewer

"Automatic certificate enrollment for local system fail to contact the active directory. The specified domain controller does not exist or could not be contacted. Group Policy processing aborted."

MEH!

Have you tried putting it in a workgroup, restarting and then putting it back into the domain. That sort of thing is what I've done to fix that before.

That should do the trick, had that one a few times

This is from an NT machine right? You could try adding the domain manually into the lmhosts file, I've known that to work in the past. I assume you have already tried re-adding it to the domain?
