Number plate

I am in the process of buying a 'Current Style' number plate.
The reg I'm after is LB05 TUN - as my name is Luke Boston.
Would I be likely to get pulled over if I spaced it like L B05TUN?
And also if I put a small black dot over the U to make it look like an O?

If you can't afford the right plate in the first place, then it's pretty chavvy to add dots to make it read something it doesn't.
Plus totally illegal and will cause you hassle every MOT
