nVidia Control Settings

Ok, I maybe missing something completely obvious, but does the nVidia Control Centre have any gamma, contrast and brightness options for Direct3D apps only?

On the ATi Catalyst Centre, there was a Desktop and a D3D option. It worked great, allowing the graphics brightness to be increased upon launching the game and then revert back to 'normal' on return to the desktop.

Currently (with titles such as Quake 4) - I have the gamma, brightness and contrast set so high that the desktop nearly burns out my retinas on return to desktop. It's more than a pain in the ricker at the moment... :dapprove:

Any ideas, peeps?

Q4 is supposed to be a dark game, use the torch more ;) There is a gamma setting in the game itself which does the job. Not sure about the control centre gamma not seen 1 but will have a look when im next home.

LOL! :D

I've managed to get the view just about right in Q4 - BF2 is another (especially in buildings) that is dark from the default settings. It's just a pain when I go back to the desktop and say, on the internet or something, I then have to faff around with the settings again. On my old 9800 Pro, it switched back to a darker default on the Windows desktop when I exited the game, automatically.

I miss that. Come back ATi - all is forgiven!
