Urbuan Dictionary : Salfordian

A Salfordian is a human-based life form found in and around Salford. Claiming the place of their birth to be a city in it's own right, Salfordians like to disassociate themselves from the City of Manchester, from which they once descended. In fact many Salfordians like to disassociate themselves from any place other than Salford.

Although Salford claims to have succesfully fought for independance from the rest of Manchester, it is more commonly accepted that the rest of Manchester fought for independance from Salford. However, this view appears to be unknown to most Salfordians.

This succesful claim of independencae by the City of Manchester in 2005, is due mainly to Salfords gargantuan crime and drug problems. Salford Precinct it the favoured hang-out for most Salfordians, choosing to by-pass the far superior Trafford Center. This communal area brings the closed community of Salford together with a vibrant art scene, consisting mainly of random letters derieved, at some point, from words in the english language and 'tags' air brused onto every visible wall. Many Salfordians fall into either a Chav, Scally or a Druggy.

Person A: "So you're a Mancunian?"
Person B: "Naahhh, i'm a Salfordian int ayeee!!"

So you deffo going for a DC5 Chris? When will the happy day be occuring? There was some other Brits stayin at the same place as us at the The Ring and they had a DC5 (2 couples, one had a DC5, one an Audi Sline), in blue with silver wheels. It was sweet.

Edit - and those of you asking if 55 was a private private plate really should be ashamed... 197 wasn't even available till 06 plate, and wasn't available in white till 57 plate.

Yeah, 100% about it fella. I even cleared it with Admin last night, with me being an Area Rep with a DC5. ;)

Seriously though, i'm just waiting for some inheritance money to come through (after 40% has gone in tax!!:dapprove:) Then i'll start looking.

Gotta be Championship White/Red Recaros. Pre-facelift like Charlie's too, but ideally a 54 plate as they're the last of the pre-facelifts.
 
I've just inherited some money recently, to hit the 40% tax band, I know what the minimum amount of money is you must be inheriting now, as it's just been vastly increased... Are you about to become a very rich man?

Total estate values over £312k are taxed at 40% flat matey. :(

It's only split between my Dad and myself... so it's not bad at all.

Not really loaded, but comfortable. ;)
 
So, a good £150k then ;) I'd buy myself a place to live, nice little flat goes for about £100k round here in a nice area. Then blow £50k on a ride, and plenty of awesomeness to fill the flat heh!
 
Goes without saying of course. But as I say, I've been in this situation recently and was keeping it light hearted :)

I'm sure whoever it was would want Chris to get as much happiness as possible from their wedge, and wouldn't want him to be sad :)

But then of course, we don't know that heh, might of been someone Chris had put down for the cash with his gangsta connections ;)

I prefer the look of the prefacelifts too mate.... don't get a 54 plate.. that will make me inferior
 
White with red interior would be my call too. Although I saw a black one on some Jap style alloys that looked awesome too.

LOL, definitely mate. I got my car obsession from my Grandad and Dad, so i know he'd approve.

Get it with an uprated Slip Diff to mate... fighting with that makes the car all the more fun to drive ;)

Oh - AST coilovers and fast road setup are a must too... just don't get the same engine mounts as me!
 
Really nice pics there jord. shame I couldn't make it but I only finished work at 6:30 in blackpool and I'd been working since 7 so i was nackered.

Looks like I missed a good meet there, there's always next time :)
 
That's a beauty :) Doesn't stand out like the white, but it looks awesome when clean like that. I reckon I'd have black you know looking at that...
