Need to change the inner CV gaiter (O/S) as it failed the MOT Test on this, tried to look for some hints/tutorials and that but not really found much, other than it can be a pain.

Just really after like what to look out for, do I need to drain the gear box, how long will it take, specialist tools.....

New shaft time.
I have read this too. But also read it can be done to swap the CV boot over. I saw someone post (cannot remember what forum it was) said "changing the drive shaft is the easy option, changing the gaiter is the swear at it for a few hours option"

Will have a better dig around on how to just change the gaiter.

You don't need to drain the gearbox for the offside driveshaft.
GOOD!!! I was hoping this was the case!

It's a internally clamped gaitor, you will be fitting a externally clamped one, it fouls on the engine block.

I have also read that this evening digging around for help. However someone did also say that it can be done.

It's just confusing that it depends on who you talk to to if it can be done or not!
