OBD Reader Help

Need to get a OBD Reader as my Exhaust Gas Monitor Warning Light (or EML?) comes on at times.

Was looking at these

Surely these are the same product? Why the price difference? Do you need a CD and cable for a PC? Where do you find out what the code means?

They are identical, i bought the cheap ebay version and its perfect for resetting the emissions light without paying the mental ktec price tag for the same thing!

I got the ebay one, plug it in and off you go, check the book (included) tells you what the code means, doneski.
