Obtaining the Radio Code

Long story short, 3 years ago, I removed my stock radio and put an after market HU in.

My mate bought a 172, he didnt know the code so I gave him my radio with my code, and had his head unit off him, with no code..... Thought nothing of it until now I need to put the stock one back in

How can I obtain this? Dont know the plate of the 172 it came out of?
