Odd Shuddering when braking softly

  Monaco Blue 172
Got my new 172 the other day, (used to ave a clio poverty spec) and ive noticed, when im slowing down slowly, with not alot of pressure on the brakes, im geting like sometimes a weird little judder, as if the abs is kicking in or something? its ever so minor, but i notice its there.... ive tryed this whilst braking hard and no problems,

anyone got any ideas?

Cheers

I've been getting the same thing for the last few weeks so would like to see some opinions on it too.

seems to be more then not... if i slam em on etc... slow down no probs, if im rolling towards traffic lights, or a junction n just slowly slowing down does it den, almost everytime the discs look ok but obv, ther on the car and im not exactly a mechanic, dey are a lil rusty looking

a bit of run-out on the disks perhaps, could be one could be both. have a scout around see if you can see anything unusual

Yeah warped disks imo. Gf has a 106 GTI, somehow managed to warp a three month old set, girl racer?

Fail

Couldn't be down to the pads could it? I use to get a shuddering/grinding feel through the steering wheel when braking from high speeds, the discs were fine but the pads were knackered.
