Official CSEA October Meet - Rolling Road Day - Sunday 28th October - FMS

I thought KTec did it when they done your cams?

If you remember at the last FMS day my car not sounding too clever due to a f**ked dephaser, TDF fixed it and and fitted a new cambelt. Apparently there are two different torque setting given for the crankshaft pulley, looks like mine was torqued to the lesser one. Ktec told me that the bolt was way looser than what they torque it to.

I am sure yours is fine, looks like I was just unlucky.

Will be good to see how the two cars compare, Fms is now not to far away from the airfield so could shoot up for a little play when we have the rr day.

I thought it was your water pump?!

There would honestly be no point in Eye airfield as the surface is terrible, we tried dragging there few months ago and was pointless.

Best way to compare is to just get them both on the same RR. Mine still hasn't been mapped!

Don't won't to push my luck with rr's at the moment seen's as it went bang on the rollers, let me get the car back and drive for a while and we will see, as you say it would be interesting to compare the two. Looks like it should be around 270 bhp and 250 ft/lbs from the readings before the car went bang, but we will have to see.

The car was about 7 bhp and 7 ft/lb or so from ktecs rollers so would be happy with that, but ktec have a new rollers now so would probably be different.

It didnt sound anything like a f**ked dephaser tbh, mine was on its last legs and sounded completely different!

Surely the car should be fine on the rollers, its meant to be driven and putting it on the rollers is no different than ragging it down an A road for a few minutes?! :) Up to you at the end of the day as you've obviously already spent over the value of the car on the conversion!

Cba, the filter is such a tight fit to be pissing about with it :) Will have to see what I gain, Danny@519 said they have given cammed & mapped cars like 7bhp :eek: So im guessing like 2/3 on mine with a map & matched inlets lol. Got a twin cat fitted as well which gives me a little more flow as my standard one had a lovely crack it in!

On the a140 near Eye I believe. Takes me just over an hour to get to your garage and then it's about 20mins from me. So shouldn't be to far! And slightly less driving directly there,


And your right on the 7.8bhp I just checked lol

Sounds like Dephaser needs doing on my shed... its idling like a tw*t....

I've found a link for Dephaser (new) on ebay - should be alright to stick on rollers..???? If y'all think its a problem I wont put my name down - can always come to another next year :D
