Offset Question

I currently have the Standard Speedline Turinis, and thinking I may need to get hold of some Trophy one's instead as at some point i'll be going for coilovers. I have a very basic understanding of offset, but thats all it is. Can someone please explain the differences to me, thanks.

trophy wheels sit further into the arches by 6.5mm each wheel, as to why you would change for those i can see zero point

its only on the 182ff that you would need the trophy alloys iirc due to the offset
