offset?

someone tell me about the offset of a wheel?lol

offset is basically where the hub face of the wheel is in relation to the centre line on that wheel

ET40 means the hub face of the wheel is 40mm from the centre line

ET30 means its only 30mm from the centre line (hence the wheel sticks out further)

yeah fine (if you're on coilovers you might need a 3-5mm spacer)

Original wheels are often tucked in the fenders. If you want them to come out more for a flush look, just get something with a smaller offset

is the offset of the stock ph1 172 ET.43?

So the point of using a spacer is to build up the distance to the same as the stock item?
Does that mean that you can then use the stock bolts/locking bolts too? if you don't use spacers do you need shorter bolts then?
