Oh B*** Did I blow something up

Installed a Connects 2 stalk and display adaptor yesterday....

Now everytime I turn power on and off (ie from ignition key), the Clock, Trip Computer and Head Unit all reset themselves.

Is there a fuse for that particular power feed, or have I mashed some wires behind the head unit?

sounds like the permanent live wire has been cut / disconnected. Take out the Connects2 lead and see if it cures it.

Check all the fuses as well before you start ripping it out again!

I didnt think that the switched and permanent live were on different fuses..... maybe tho....

Ok guys...

Opened fuse box cover to find no fuse box!!! After taking half my car apart trying to find it, it realised that the fuse box was still wrapped in tape (as they are in the factory)... So I removed the cover... peeled loadsa tape away, and there it was! Renault really make me laugh sometimes.

Anyways, it turns out I blew a 20A fuse somehow, while installing the adaptor. All sorted now (apart from putting the dashboard together!).
