That was my thought hopefully some thing inline to safeguard the ecu i would hope.Did it not have an inline fuse that should blow first?
Just incase anyone does the same. It blew the 5 amp fuse in the engine bay fuse box. All sorted

Battery’s been moved so that’s just a junction box connecting the positives all together. Done similar on mineAnd just to be nosey as when I open a bonnet I couldn’t tell you one thing from another what are these 2 things doing ?
