Car  LY V6 with Recaros
Got my car back today after having the Modus as a courtesy car (which i was beginning to think was quite nippy when i adjusted to the speed!). Oh my god i forgot how much i love it! It felt so fast! I had a huge grin on my face as i drove it home!
 
I know what u mean, i went from a saxo vtr 1.6, and it didnt seem like that much of a dramatic change, but going from the 1.4 it feels totally crazy, i love it, i should drive a slow car more often to make me appreciate it!
 
Not had mine a week yet and I've already starting getting used to the power - feels quick now rather than bloody fast. I have done nearly a 1000 miles in it though!
 
I have to drive a 1.8 non-turbo escort diesel van all week.When l drive the Cup its party time.......!

As bad as me and my hire car... 1400 miles in 9days:o Hope there not gonna kick off!! Wish it was a good as the 172/182.lol

Yeah same here, i drive it so much i just kind of get used to it too
 
1800 miles in mine. Very fun car, But I'm already starting to wonder what's the next step from here. Addicted to power now....DOH!
 
48k and just fitted coilovers to mine! Need to get the Dastek chip fitted and remapped for that little bit more. Kinda a love hate relationship going on with it at the moment.
 
I drive a variety of different cars/vans every day so the 172 nearly always seems quick
 
Shame it's the slowest colour in the world though! So with that number plate and the silver holding it back it should be about as fast as standard! :rasp:
 
Works the other way too though. I came from my M3 power (not gillette), and felt the 182 was a bit slow, but after a couple of weeks, I got used to it, and now it feels as fast as the BMW did :)
 
I got a Modus as a coutesy car and I forgot how slow it was and went to overtake someone and had to pull back in! Got back in my 182Cup and it felt like a rocketship :D

Well, mine must be faster than yours with all that dirt weighing it down, must be an inch thick ;)
