OIL? 0W40 or 5W40

I'm getting my car serviced tomorrow. Not knowing much about the black stuff I have a question?
Will 0W40 be ok in my 182 or should I use 5/40 as in:

The w is related to cold weather start up. Use what is designed for the car. 5w40

The cars designed to run on a variety of oils have a read here depend on where the engine is working

Renault recomended fluids/amounts/grades to be used.

0-weight is fine its protects down to -25 degrees whereas 5- weight only down to -20 degrees

The car runs fine on 10-40 though in the Uk climate.

Thanks. The reason being I can get 0W40 at work for not much folding.

5/40w is ideal if you can get it
